Let’s all dance and sing and clap our hands that 2020 is O-V-E-R! As we say #bye to this year, and gratefully enter 2021, we step fully into the Age of Aquarius. Just like Aquarians themselves, this moment is about uplifting the collective. It’s about raising the vibrations of the whole by raising ourselves up individually - it means loving each other by loving ourselves.

In today’s blog, we’re sharing #goodvibesonly rituals to uplift your energy, raise up your consciousness, shake off last year’s bad juju, and enter 2021 feeling cosmically and joyfully aligned!  


We all attract the energy we put out. The fastest and most powerful way to attract better circumstances, better energy, and an overall more positive experience is to raise our own vibrations in this moment.  

So, let’s tune into the reciprocal magic of the universe and take control of our experience by raising our own vibrations. In other words, stop waiting for outside influences to make you happy, and just choose joy now. We have the power to choose joy in any moment. Because, after all, feeling negative (even in the midst of negative circumstances) does not somehow bring about positivity. Quite the opposite actually - negativity only attracts more negativity.

When we choose to be stubbornly joyful regardless of our circumstances, we’re telling the universe we want more joy. We are attracting high vibrations that match what we’re putting out.

So, how to raise our vibrations in a low vibe, fear-filled, anxiety-ridden, super uncertain world? Simply do more of what brings you joy! And don’t be afraid to try things you’ve never tried to get yourself there.


Don’t feel like any of these practices things are ‘musts’ to ‘to dos’, just do them when they feel fun in an effort to raise your vibrations, feel more joy, and inadvertently attract more good vibes into your life. These practices can take 30 seconds or 2 hours – whatever feels aligning to you!

Commune with crystals

Not only are crystals glittering and gorgeous, they’re powerful totems to magnify our intentions and raise our vibrations. Whenever you have a free moment, sit in a room without distractions, hold your crystals either in your hands or against your heart, and meditate on a specific intention or feeling you want more of in your life. It could be love, clarity, joy, playfulness, creativity, abundance – whatever feels aligning for you. Allow the vibrations of that emotion to flow through your body and be magnified through the crystal’s structure.




Turn on the music and move your body in any way that feels good. Try to release all the tension from your arms and legs, shed any self-judgement, and let your body flow. If you’re in a quiet-only zone, put on some headphones and dance to the beats only you can hear!   

Whole Body Shaking Meditation

Put on some music and shake your arms, your legs, your torso, your hips, your feet, and every strand of hair on your head! You’ll feel ridiculous but also completely AMAZING and recharged! This is a super quick and effective way to raise your vibrations and slow down anxiety.

Don’t get too tied up in the ‘right way’ to meditate – this is about aligning your own energy so do whatever feels good – whether that’s sitting, laying down, or even walking.

If meditation brings you zero joy and only makes you feel anxious and irritated, skip it! This is about what makes YOU feel good.

Gratitude Journal

Gratitude is one of the highest vibe emotions we can feel. By starting your day reflecting on all that you’re grateful for, you put yourself in a high vibration state to attract more abundance and positivity into your life. If you have time, once you’ve written down your gratitude items for the day, sit for a few minutes and allow those feelings of gratitude and abundance to wash over you and fill your consciousness.

Do Something for Others

Help raise your vibration and the vibration of the collective by spreading joy and positivity to others. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself for a big grandiose gesture - it can be as simple as a loving text to a friend, dropping off coffee on a loved one’s doorstep, writing a literal letter to your grandma, commenting something supportive on someone’s IG post – whatever feels good to you!

Bliss Out in Nature

The easiest way to cleanse our energy and recharge our spirit is to return to nature. Connect with nature in whatever way your climate allows: walking, skiing, tobogganing, swimming, hiking, walking barefoot (if you’re in a warm place). Just getting some vitamin D and entering the inherently perfect balance of nature will immediately raise your vibrations.  

Breathe with Intention

Simple deep breathing oxygenates our cells, slows down our racing thoughts, and immediately raises our vibrations. Depending on what you’re feeling (and how much time you have), here’s a few different breathing techniques to try:

Alternate Nostril Breathing (Nadi Shodhana)

An ancient yogic breathing technique to balance your energy, this practice purifies your mind and clears out stagnant energy that could be lowering your vibrations.

How to (from

  1. Take a comfortable and tall seat, making sure your spine is straight and your heart is open.
  2. Relax your left palm comfortably into your lap and bring your right hand just in front of your face.
  3. With your right hand, bring your pointer finger and middle finger to rest between your eyebrows, lightly using them as an anchor. The fingers we’ll be actively using are the thumb and ring finger.
  4. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out through your nose.
  5. Close your right nostril with your right thumb. Inhale through the left nostril slowly and steadily.
  6. Close the left nostril with your ring finger so both nostrils are held closed; retain your breath at the top of the inhale for a brief pause.
  7. Open your right nostril and release the breath slowly through the right side; pause briefly at the bottom of the exhale.
  8. Inhale through the right side slowly.
  9. Hold both nostrils closed (with ring finger and thumb).
  10. Open your left nostril and release breath slowly through the left side. Pause briefly at the bottom.
  11. Repeat 5-10 cycles, allowing your mind to follow your inhales and exhales.

Simple, 3-Step Breathing

Super simple, yet deeply soothing, this practice can be done in 2 minutes or half an hour – whatever you have time for (and feels good to you).

How to: inhale deeply and imagine filling first your collarbone, then your rib cage, then your lower belly. Exhale and feel the breath leaving from the bottom up – noticing each stage of the breath.

2 to 1 Breathing

Again, super simple for those of us with little time and the attention span of a flea! Simply exhale for twice as long as you inhale – this will relax your body and slow down your stress response. As you get more comfortable, increase the time of your inhale and exhale.
